Entr'acte Recording Society

Entr'acte Recording Society is an independent record label. The music term entr'acte is derived from the French, which translates as 'between acts'. The label's first release, the soundtrack recording from the Brian De Palma film Sisters with music by Bernard Herrmann, was followed by other recordings of his music as well as that by Hugo Friedhofer, Miklós Rózsa, Max Steiner and Franz Waxman, among others. The label has also produced several recordings of chamber music, including works by Erich Wolfgang Korngold, Miklós Rózsa and Halsey Stevens.
